Site Location - While Girls on the Run provides almost everything needed to run the program, the site is required to provide the following access to space. It is not necessary to have a track or gym.

Estimating Scholarship Need - Girls on the Run is a non-profit organization, not a school-sponsored club or sports program. Therefore, we rely on registration fees, donations, sponsorships and other support to provide a safe and inclusive one-of-a-kind experience for girls. The 10-week program participation fee is $185. Scholarships are available based on a sliding income scale. The minimum fee (income $30,000 or less) is $25. Since our inception, we have never turned a girl away due to her inability to pay the registration fee. When estimating the number of scholarships that may be needed for your team, it is helpful to know the percentage of students that receive free or reduced lunch.
