Please complete this form to indicate your volunteer interest if you are unaffiliated with a school. (If you are connected with a school program already, your site liaison will contact you when those coach applications open; if you are looking to start a program at your school, click here.) We will follow up with more information about getting involved as a volunteer or coach, along with the applicable application form based on your area of interest.

Coach Roles: We offer two eight-week seasons each year--spring (March-May) and fall (September-November). Teams meet twice a week for 75-90 minutes, generally right after school. GOTR provides training, detailed curriculum books/lesson plans, and all the facilitation supplies needed to confidently deliver every lesson.

Coach: Any adult at least 18 years of age or older. All coaches will be responsible for facilitating curriculum, positively engaging participants, and sharing other team support tasks. Coaches are required to complete our National New Coach Training Program prior to coaching.
Junior Coach: High school students between the ages of 16 to 17 years of age. Junior Coaches are required to complete our National New Coach Training Program prior to coaching.

General Volunteer/Sneaker Soiree Volunteer: Anyone 18 years of age or older who can support our council with different needs! This may include helping prepare supplies for an upcoming season or assisting event set up during various daytime shifts or evening gala shifts at our Sneaker Soiree on February 28, 2025.

5K Volunteer: Many hands are needed to support our end-of-season 5K in November and May. There are a variety of roles to choose from and you can select one that's best for you!
