All GOTR and H&S sites must provide a Site Liaison. The Site Liaison should be someone who is connected with the site (a school administrator or staff, an employee or member of the site, a staff member who wants to help but can't commit to coaching, a parent of a participant, a PTA member, etc.).The Site Liaison can also be a coach.

Ideally this person is able to commit to 5-10 hours a season, most of which will occur in the month before the season begins (August in Fall, February in Spring) with recruitment and team set-up. He/she must have the time and flexibility in their schedule to meet the following job responsibilities:

oversee the student recruitment process and online registration process
support families with the online registration
support the fee collection process and the submission of required forms and payments to Girls on the Run of NOVA (if using Site Approved Payment)
ensure that the site meets all Girls on the Run of NOVA compliance standards
support coaches in implementation of the Girls on the Run and Heart & Sole programs, including curriculum and appropriate training space
support communication between coaches, participants, parents and the Girls on the Run of NOVA staff
