Since our founding in 2006, we have served over 24,000+ girls and want to ensure that Girls on the Run is ACCESSIBLE TO ALL girls. We need your help to give more girls access, as last year more than 67% of girls who participated received financial assistance. GOTR - DC offers a proven, character development after-school program to equip pre-teen girls (grades 3 - 8) in all eight wards of Washington, DC, and in Prince George's County, with skills to develop confidence and form habits that prepare them for a lifetime of healthy living. Our core curriculum addresses many aspects of girls' development - their physical, emotional, mental, and social well-being.
