Girls on the Run of WNC Annual Campaign
At Girls on the Run we envision a world where all girls know and activate their limitless potential. And more than that, we are working to make that vision a reality - one where girls can navigate their lives with confidence and joy. One girl at a time, we've changed a million lives. With your support, one girl at a time, we will change a million more.
Since 2002, Girls on the Run WNC has grown to serve 14 WNC counties and over 20,000 girls! Donations to Girls on the Run of WNC provide the revenue needed to support key program delivery requirements including program materials, curriculum development, outreach to under- served communities and scholarships to ensure that all girls have the opportunity to participate in this transformational program.
Last year over 208 girls (46% of participants) received $18,760 in financial assistance to cover the cost of their program registration. As we work to rebuild programming in Western North Carolina we want to ensure that all girls who want to participate, have the opportunity. Without public and private support from people like YOU, we could not keep our promise to never turn a girl away for inability to pay.
