I have become a Girls on the Run SoleMate because I want to inspire more local girls to find joy, health, and confidence through running. Running has become a large portion of my life and has supported me physically and mentally throughout my time in college and after. I am currently training for my second half marathon and I strive to support the next generation of runners through my participation as a SoleMate. Girls on the Run is just the intervention girls need to learn the critical life skills that will help them navigate the challenges of adolescence. And local girls need our support - over 2,000 girls are served each year with this empowering curriculum requiring over $100,000 in financial assistance to support girls and families with financial need. No girl is ever turned away for an inability to pay. Join me in supporting the powerful work that is being done to help local girls activate their limitless potential!
