Spring 2025 Girls on the Run 5K in Black Hills Rapid City - Volunteer Registration

Thank you for your interest in volunteering for our Spring Girls on the Run 5K in Rapid City! As GOTR girls from across our area come together to achieve their goals on 5K day, they will be depending on volunteers like you to help them shine!
Finish Line Assistance and Medals: direct runners away from the finish line to the bananas/water ; put a medal around the neck and congratulate each young girl participating through the Girls on the Run and Heart & Sole programs
Registration Booth: assist new registrants (taking payment) and handing out race swag 5K
Route Helpers: stand at key locations to assist runners in going the correct direction and encouraging them along the course
Sag Walkers: walking the whole 5K at the end of the line to make sure all kids are being encouraged and no one is left behind
