Girls on the Run North Central West Virginia
Welcome to Girls on the Run! – a life-changing, non-profit program for girls in the 3rd through 8th grade. Our mission is to inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running.
To ensure fair access to all potential participants, we use a lottery system for team selection. All registrations received between January 25, 2025 and February 1, 2025 will be given equal chance of selection to a team. Please leave time to complete and submit your form before the 11:59 pm deadline.
Team assignments will happen on February 2, 2025. In the event that your preferred team has more participants registered than we have spaces, a random computer generated lottery will select the participants for the team. You will receive notification of your status on February 2nd, either by automated confirmation email or by our staff if a waitlist situation has occurred. If your girl is selected to a team, your payment will be processed at that time. Your payment will not be processed unless you receive a spot on a team.
Registration for teams with open spots will reopen on February 3, 2025 at 8:00 am. Remaining spots will be awarded on a 'first come, first served' basis through the first week of practice.
