Girls on the Run of Kentuckiana Spring 2025 5K Volunteer

Thanks for your interest in volunteering for Girls on the Run Kentuckiana! As girls from across our area come together to achieve their goals on 5K day, they will be depending on volunteers like you to help them shine!  For the safety of our girls, their families, and all participants and volunteers, we ask that all volunteers be fully vaccinated for Covid-19. 

Volunteers are needed on 5K day for several shifts to make the day a success. The shifts include:

First Shift 8:00 am - 11:00 am: Volunteers are needed to assist with tasks such as equipment set up, start/finish line setup, 5K registration, merchandise booth, and Happy Hair booth.

Second Shift 10:00 am - 1:30 pm: Volunteers are needed to help with the water station, merchandise booth, post 5K food/beverages, handing out medals, serving as course marshals/cheerleaders, being part of the back of the pack crew, serving as volunteer running buddies, and joining our cleanup crew. 

Entire Event 8:00 am - 1:30 pm: Want to be part of the whole amazing day? We need you! This is a GREAT option for students who need community service hours.

Can't be there for a whole shift? YOU TELL US when you are available! We appreciate any time you can give to make the day a success for our girls.
