On November 2, I am running the 2025 TCS New York City Marathon for Girls on the Run NYC, a transformative running-based program. Because of Girls on the Run, women (especially young women) gather what's important to them, recognize the value of team work, engage in healthy relationships, and know that they can positively impact and shape our world. It builds confidence in women that they are capable of doing anything. The first woman that ran the Boston Marathon was told she was incapable of running a marathon and disguised herself as a man to run the marathon. This was in 1967. With programs like Girls on the Run, now thousands of women run marathons. Will you join me by making a donation to Girls on the Run today and empowering women?
