For the past two years, I’ve had the honor of coaching Girls on the Run, and this year will be my 4th & 5th season. I’ve seen firsthand how this program transforms young girls—not just as runners, but as confident, empowered individuals.
This program is more than running. It’s a social and emotional skill-building program that helps girls overcome self-doubt, build friendships, and realize their potential—all through movement. As a coach and a mom, I’ve watched my own daughter and countless other girls experience the joy of setting and achieving big goals, often running their first-ever 5K. Seeing their faces light up with pride as they cross the finish line is an unforgettable moment—one that changes how they see themselves and what they believe they’re capable of.
Running has shaped my own life. I started through field hockey and lacrosse as a teenager, and it gave me confidence, leadership skills, and resilience—qualities that continue to impact me today, both personally and professionally. Now, running with a community or by myself has become a way to appreciate nature, my body and the gift of life.
I want every girl to have that same opportunity for a positive relationship with themselves and others.
That’s why I’m running 26.2 miles in the NYC Marathon—to ensure more girls can be part of this incredible program. The funds we raise will provide teams with the equipment, materials, and the 5K experience that makes this program so special.
Will you join me in supporting the next generation of strong, confident, and unstoppable girls? Every donation makes a difference.
Thank you for being part of this journey with me! 💜🏃♀️
