I’ve only been a runner for two years, but the transformative effect has been profound. In our new reality in the United States, we must protect opportunities for those less represented at all costs. It would a true honor to raise money and represent the great work of your organization at the greatest marathon in the world. I ran this race once before for a charity that honored my father. I can think of nothing greater than to now do so representing my mother, all of the other remarkable women in my life, as well as all those who are forever changed by the opportunities provided by Girls on The Run.
