Running is my sanctuary. It's where I find clarity, strength, and a sense of peace. For years, I've relied on running to support my mental well-being, and it's become an integral part of my life. That's why I'm so excited to be a SoleMate and take on the Peachtree Road Race!
But this race isn't just about my personal journey; it's about empowering the next generation of strong, confident girls. I've had the privilege of volunteering as a Girls on the Run coach, and I've witnessed firsthand the incredible impact this program has. I've seen shy girls blossom into confident leaders, and I've watched them discover their inner strength through running and life skills lessons.
Girls on the Run is more than just a running program; it's a transformative experience. It teaches girls invaluable lessons about self-esteem, teamwork, and healthy living. It provides them with the tools they need to navigate the challenges of adolescence and emerge as resilient, empowered individuals.
Training for this race is a reminder of the power of perseverance and the joy of setting and achieving goals. Every mile I run is dedicated to the girls who inspire me daily. Knowing that my efforts will support Girls on the Run Georgia and help them reach even more girls fills me with purpose and motivation.
I believe in the mission of Girls on the Run, and I'm passionate about ensuring that every girl has the opportunity to experience its life-changing impact. Please join me in supporting this incredible program and empowering local girls to shine!
