On November 2, I am running the 2025 TCS New York City Marathon for Girls on the Run NYC!
I didn’t grow up as a runner—I was one of those people who walked the mile in high school. But after college, during COVID, I started running as a way to stay healthy while social distancing. I quickly realized how powerful it was—not just for my physical health, but for my mental well-being too. Running has become my way to reset, tackle challenges, and find balance between work and life. It has given me confidence, mental toughness, and a sense of strength I never expected.
Now, whenever I travel, the first thing I do is look for a great place to run. It’s how I explore new cities, meet other people with similar interests, and reconnect with myself. I want more young girls to experience that same joy. Girls on the Run NYC empowers girls through running and by supporting this program, we can help more girls gain access to mentorship, community, and the tools to believe in themselves!
